Ingimex Limited is currently seeking quotations for an initial package of battery-powered assembly tooling. The purpose of this purchase is to evaluate battery-powered tools as a potential alternative to ageing compressed-air powered tools currently used within its assembly areas.
This opportunity is for the supply of suitable battery-powered tools, compatible batteries and chargers for use within a manufacturing and vehicle body assembly environment. The purchase is intended to assess suitability, performance, usability, production benefits and environmental benefits before any future tooling decisions are made.

Evaluation criteria
Ingimex will evaluate all quotations based upon the suitability of the proposed equipment for a production environment, ability to meet the requirements, compatibility across a common battery platform, value for money, lead time, warranty provision, service support, supplier capability, and overall fit with the project objectives.
