New bolt-on accessories from Ingimex add value to Ford ‘One Stop’ programme

New bolt-on accessories are being introduced by Ingimex to add value to the Ford ‘One Stop’ programme.

A unique ‘Fit while you Wait’ service is now available for the ½-tonne column-type tail lift on Ford ‘One Stop’ conversions at Ingimex’s manufacturing facility in Telford. Available with folding or mesh platform, the Ingimex installation fully complies with road vehicle traffic regulations for lighting and number plate visibility, and complies with Euro Norm installations.

A new tow hitch has been designed with manufacturer Witter to be compatible to Ingimex dropside bodies supplied for Ford’s ‘One Stop’ conversion programme. Because of its extra length, the tow hitch does not interfere with the overhang of the body, making it easier for operators to access. The tow hitch, which is compatible also with the tail lift installation, conforms to European Type Approval standards.

Another new accessory this year, a roll-up tonneau cover from UK market leader Monsoon 4x4 is available to fully weatherproof loads on open-topped dropsides for the Ford ‘One Stop’ conversion programme.

Also introduced this year, Ingimex offers a reverse alarm, and a reverse sensor kit which – unique to Ingimex - is integrated into the steel structure of the tail lift mechanism and into the vehicle wiring.
