Renault Trucks has chosen body manufacturer Ingimex for its new quick delivery programme, which will see the company’s Thor dropside and Titan tipper fitted in pipeline to the Renault Master 3.5 tonne chassis.

Renault Trucks General Sales Manager – South, Tim Huggins said: “We’re delighted to announce our new relationship with body specialist Ingimex. Vehicles in the scheme are competitively-priced to reflect Renault Truck’s superior service offering.”

Ingimex, which has the largest UK market share in body conversions for the 3.5 tonne chassis class, has many years’ experience working for leading automotive names on their core manufacturer schemes. Ingimex MD Justin Gallen said: “We’re in a business environment where long-term strategic partnerships with vehicle chassis manufacturers are increasingly becoming the norm as, together, we can deliver to customers a ‘ready to roll’ vehicle of exceptional quality and – critically - fully address the risk management issues of operator safety.”

He says the case for purchasing body conversions through a manufacturer scheme is compelling: “Although each brand scheme differs in the detail so as to reflect the host vehicle strengths, the critical plus factors are common to all schemes: they include an increased standard of finish, a clear definition of safe use and improved vehicle residual values. Add to that, accurate vehicle completion dates and comprehensive after sales support, and it is easy to see why many customers prefer to purchase through one of the manufacturer schemes.”
